Begin a true national recycling program AND ELIMINATE LAND FILLS OR OFFSHORE DUMPING. Prohibit state to state transportation of refuse (or Canada)--begin a "full-employment" recycling program within states utilizing unemployment block grant funding--sharing revenue from recycle operations with states for family assistance programs.

Sentence criminal Wall St Bankers etc to Work Release Programs. Let those who are supposedly too-big-to-jail go to work during the day, and then lock them up at night -- just like we do with other criminals. Given them felony records and let them deal with that too. Also, take away their right (and their company’s right) to donate money to campaigns & issue advocacy groups for twenty years.

NUCLEAR WASTE: Find permanent, safe* disposal sites for high- level nuclear waste housed in filled catch basins at nuclear plants throughout the country and in storage tanks in Tri-Cities, WA. A significant legacy for future generations. Inform/protect communities when transporting nuclear waste & other toxic chemicals through their communities. * safe is relative - there's no known safe long -term disposal of waste with half life and full life of thousands and tens of thousands of yrs.

Require pharmacy chains to post online public view prices for some if not all of their medicines, thereby spurring competition that will bring down prices. For hospitals require them to post online public view costs of many if not all of their supplies and surgical procedures, thereby spurring competition to bring down prices. Give states incentives to form regional state group purchasing alliances to enable mass purchasing of medicines that people in their states can buy, thus cutting costs.

Total Wall Street accountability (and prosecution). No contributions, gifts, recompense of any kind, except for salary and benefits, for all three branches. Without this, none of the other ideas presented here stand a chance.

Require every candidate for elective office to swear an oath to tell the truth 24/7 during the campaign. All government officeholders swear an oath to tell the truth 24/7 for the term of office. False statements made while under oath is perjury. Statements clearly IDENTIFIED as opinion WHEN MADE would NOT violate the oath. Everyone can have their own opinions, but not their own facts.

Pull all troops out of the Middle East, prevent future terrorist attacks simply by focusing on defending ourselves here at home, and consider sending foreign aid to moderate rebels who seek to fight ISIS. The terrorist threat began when the U.S. funded "rebels" such as Osama bin Laden in the 1980s, so it can only end when the good people in the Middle East have the funds they need to take back their region themselves.

End the cycle of drug abuse that is hiding in plain sight. Require all prescriptions for opiates to be linked to your drivers license or social security number. No more doctor shopping that results in multiple prescriptions for the same drug, for the same patient, and record profits for the drug companies that look the other way. Addiction ruins families. One ID = only one prescription for a highly addictive pain-killer, in a national registry so no one can drive across state borders.

Start a nation wide campaign to show how most politicians severally over complicate the whole healthcare/social security/medicare/medicaid issues's. The simple solution has always been to tax all income not just the poor and low middle class. Then we would have healthcare for all and also be able to completely eliminate the health insurance industry.

Veterinary medical costs for a household pet should be tax deductible. A pet should be counted as a dependent on tax returns. Low income people should be eligible for subsidies that would make it financially feasible for them to own a pet.

Urban property that has been 1) condemned or 2) abandoned/unoccupied for more than three years must be auctioned to the public. Regulations must PREVENT 1) inside deals by realtors & developers, 2) developers & hedge funds from buying up everything at cheap prices & then controlling properties & manipulating markets to drive up prices, & 3) zoning boards from limiting divisions into smaller lots & blocking construction of smaller homes needed for affordable single family housing.

Do the same for insourcing, no rewarding bringing in foreign workers that will take jobs from Americans and drive down wages for the rest. Then eliminate all Import Subsidies.
