Mandate congress Pledge to accept campaign contributions from registered USofA voters only. No monies from non-voters (eg PACs & Corps). Those who don't sign or accept non-USofA voter campaign funds are publically announcing they represent non-USofA voter interests which threatens the integrity of congress; the security of the nation. The sovereignty of the USofA (via its constitution) is placed in the hands of the voters.

all imports should be subject to a market entry fee just as if you wanted to sell your goods at a state farmers market or a flea market. the fee would be the man hours of labor times the difference in pay between US and foreign labor. domestic manufacture supports the market(infrastructure) on many levels federal, state and local taxes on wages, profits, real estate, road use, utilities etc.foreign manufacturers pay nothing to maintain the market they wish to sell in. completely unfair.

Decrease the threshold for "full time" work to 35 hours per week. Mandate overtime for "exempt" or "salaried" employees who work more than 35 hours a week.

New Campaign Time Limits: Memorial Day to Halloween: Only a change in the election 'system' will rally disgusted voters back on Election Day. Ordinary citizens don't want less government. They want less campaigning. A clear, simple law that limits the length of public campaigns to those five months is the answer. It would also seriously shorten the amount of time money can be sent so more candidates can compete. And the the serious hurdle of passing a consitiutional amendment would be moot.

Revamp the criminal system. Give a chance to those who complete their probation and commit no further crimes. A felony is forever and so many have grown and changed from their experiences and deserve a second chance!

I believe that taxes should be more progressive, but I also feel that at some level of income (perhaps $200,000) there should be in place a declining ability to deduct further donations. In other words, the richer you are (by income) the less you get to declare as deductions.

Repeal GPO/WEP in its entirety. Was not sure which place to post this. This travesty of justice needs to be addressed. I, for one, have worked 53 years with 30 being government service, and continue to work and pay into Social Security. I have way more than enough quarters to draw full Social Security and only draw one-third. How unfair is this.

End corporate welfare. If an employee of Mcdonald's or Walmart working full time has to go on Food Stamps or Medicare to make ends meet, you and I are paying for it and subsidizing the bottom line profits of those companies. The government should audit companies for those abuses and tax them in order to recover those costs

Our highly complicated tax and system collected about 2.8 trillion dollars in 2013. The total amount of GDP was 86.6 trillion. Simple math tells us that the government got 3.23% of the GDP. We can abolish ALL of the tax code and replace it with a 4% national sales tax that NO ONE is exempt from and raise far more money and spread it evenly among ALL citizens.

Rewrite Title 38, which governs the actions of the VA and include a bill of rights clause, placing standards and timelines for the adjudication of claims. Revise the system so that veterans can have legal assistance at any point during the adjudication process. If timelines are not met then veterans should be able to have their claims moved to federal appeals court.

Race-to-the-top trade agreements instead of race-to-the-bottom ones. Agreements allowing nations to gain competitive advantage for their goods not through efficiency and quality (the goal of market competition) but by keeping wages low and skimping on environmental and worker protections, force all nations to "race to the bottom." Allowing countries to reverse ill-gotten advantages with tariffs could end the "race to the bottom" and incentivize nations to "race to the top" instead.

Unbiased Tax Code. Tax laws are brokered deals, and negotiations always benefit the most powerful. The current code abuses the middle class by hiding behind marginal tax deductions and supposed benefits for the poor. An unbiased tax code is progressive in nature, includes all citizens, avoids social engineering, and allows for a balanced budget and a reasonable amount of debt. Replacing ALL current taxes with a tax levied on each and every transaction meets these requirements

A law that will require the commitment of 5% of the federal budget to biomedical research. While the military is fighting endless wars abroad, US citizens are suffering from countless diseases, including diabetes, heart disease, cancer, and AIDS. The enemy is within, and we still do not have the tools to defeat it.

Increases in corporate profits due to technology advances must be distributed to workers whose work is made more efficient by the technology. Example: If computers have allowed staffing to be reduced by two-thirds, then efficiency of remaining staff is thus triple and compensation for those positions need to triple. Executives did not produce the efficiency and may not take credit for no different job performed by them and may not take pay increases produced by lower level staff output..

A warming collapse of the island earth is likely to eventually kill many species. We and others may become extinct. If this happens, and if we are lucky, evolution may only be set back by millions of years. A solution: Use world-wide birth control laws to reduce the earth's people population over the span of a few generations, probably over a time of 50 to 75 years.
