Poverty and homelessness are not crimes. Many places have enacted bans on sleeping outdoors or in vehicles, and are conducting targeted enforcement in an apparent attempt to force homeless people to leave. It is a crime to target and victimize people who do not have the money to pay a legal bill to fight back, for something beyond their control.
Guns should be treated like cars, you know where a car is from the day it rolls off the assembly line till it is crushed for scrap. You will never convince people that gun control is good, but knowing where the guns are and having people register them and register them when sold would be a big step in right the directions. Besides look how safe cars compared to 20 to 40 years ago, how safe would guns be now. think about it.

Racist laws such as Black Codes, Maryland Doctrines of Exclusion, Dredd Scott Decision of 1857, 3/5 Compromise, Stand Your Ground and all laws that have been disproportionately damaging to Black Americans must be stricken from law. Let us also move to Reconstruct the U.S. Constitution so that it includes language recognizing black peoples as free and equal citizens to whites and all other peoples. The implementation of these measures would ensure true equality in the eyes of the law and society.
Treat getting a gun like one would treat getting a license. If someone wants a gun, they have to go through classes to prove they are capable and responsible to have a gun. The person must learn the laws, local, state and federal, about gun possession, carrying, what types of guns are allowed and which ones aren't. Then, they should be taught how to handle the weapon carefully. After that, they should have to take a series of tests and if they fail, they don't get one.
A nationwide Death with Dignity act that would allow anyone who is 18 yrs old or older who has six months or less to live and is of sound mind, both certified by 2 different doctors, to request and receive a prescription, that they must administer themselves in the presence of a doctor, that would end their pain and suffering and allow them to take advantage of a gentle death option.
