I feel that my government needs to get out of the health care business. I want to see the FDA actually doing testing on the big pharma products before they are put on the market (fosamax) , I want to see my government quit prescribing medicine without a license (mandatory vaccines) we all assume you are getting money from big pharma, This stuff is going to lead to law suits

Employers should pay for employee healthcare on a prorated basis. E.g. 2 20hr/wk employees would incur the same healthcare liability as 1 40hr/wk employee. This will discourage using part time employment to avoid costs.

Open the current Medicare system to every employed individual as follows; The standard payroll deduction continues and an additional deduction of the current cost to retirees is added to the monthly cost. If the employee has dependents that do not qualify for any other type of health coverage an additional current cost deduction applies for each dependent. The employee also has the option of purchasing a supplemental plan to cover costs not covered by Medicare

High quality care for everyone requires payment system revolution. Single Payer is broken: Low quality care for everyone. Products & Services payments - rich get richer: Unnecessary care for 80%, low quality care for 20%. Publish/Subscribe payment system revolution: Delivers high quality care for everyone by using market forces: Better care results in more profit. More profit requires better care to be successful.

Stop spending money on projects that can wait, such a new Parking Lot for the Tinley Park Convention Center. The 77,000 they are getting to renovate the parking lot or the building is a crime. We have people living on the streets, who are homeless and unfortunately a lot of them live with a brain disorder. We have many people living with a brain disorder who no longer have a day program to go to because the funds have run out and they close the day programs or clinics.

Start a National campaign to teach people how to prepare healthy food for themselves. The skill of food acquisition and preparation is necessary for healthy populations. Early childhood education for appreciation of home cooked food and food ambassadors at grocery stores to teach adults are good places to start.

More money for CPS Services to protect children from abusers; a national database of abusers and their victims; better follow up by CPS workers to homes of children who have been designated as victims of abuse. There are way too many children being abused and killed because of lack of resources for CPS Services.
