Stop taxing Social Security benefits! This requirement was not initially intended. Rather, it was added and later expanded to keep Social Security solvent! It amounts to paying part of your monthly benefit! The solution should be kept solvent by either raising or removing the cap on the amount income which is taxed during a persons working years!

Amend Social Security exposure to Federal Income Taxes. Either eliminate it completely or apply yearly cost-of-living increases to the basis for exposure ($25,000 single, $32,000 married, 50%. $34,000 single, $44,000 married, 85%).

I would like a bill considered or introduced that would exempt Social Security and pension payments as income. ((401K's would still be taxable) Social Security should not be considered as taxable income, along with any other pensions that are being paid to an individual after the age of 65.
