Have a Big Idea?

Incentivize (tax breaks, etc) various forms of Worker-Owned Businesses. WOBs are better than unions and is the "capitalist" method of reducing the flow of profits to the top. If half of all US businesses were worker-owned, the middle class would burgeon, the working poor would be almost non-existent and jobs would stay in the US. Combined with a robust minimum wage law, WOBs would shift the power away from the 1%. In WOBs, mgt answers to the workers, not the BofD or stockholders.

So many ideas, while being good, can't possibly get enacted in this political climate. Worker-owned business incentives might have a chance and puts the power (political *and* economic) in our hands, essentially doing an "end run" around the established propaganda of the corporate puppets. How can you fight against worker-owned businesses? It's the free market approach to clawing back profits from the 1%. There are many types of such business models, including the ones successfully used in Germany, which should be partially used as a model and test case.
