Remove sports programs from public schools and let the private community run them. Replace them with daily physical activities for all students. No more mega dollar sports facilities being paid for with taxes that need to be spent on classroom educational facilities.

Enact a fee on GHG emissions starting at $15 a ton of CO2 or CO2 equivalent steadily by $10 a year until we achieve 90-100% reduction from current levels. Rebate all the fees back to American households on an equitable basis. According to economists this will assure that the bottom two-thirds of Americans will come out equal or ahead of the increased costs. This plan will increase jobs and grow the economy while saving our biosphere.

Because of abuse by Congress, the Department of Defense, and the Executive Branch, eliminate "black hole" funding of Special Access Programs. Every appropriations bill must, at a minimum, list every SAP by Agency, number, and amount; for example: CIA, 1, $37,000,000.

Corporations cannot be bound by laws created for humans - corporations have no guilt, no conscience, no compassion, no reason to reform. Get rid of laws recognizing corporations as people. Create laws that are scaled for corporate reform and may then better control corporate crimes.

Employers should pay for employee healthcare on a prorated basis. E.g. 2 20hr/wk employees would incur the same healthcare liability as 1 40hr/wk employee. This will discourage using part time employment to avoid costs.

Congress should pass a law allowing airlines to offer "standing tickets" on flights whereby poles would be placed in part of the plane for discount fares and to maximize use of plane space and airline profits.

I feel that my government needs to get out of the health care business. I want to see the FDA actually doing testing on the big pharma products before they are put on the market (fosamax) , I want to see my government quit prescribing medicine without a license (mandatory vaccines) we all assume you are getting money from big pharma, This stuff is going to lead to law suits

Social Security was put in place to address the FACT that life is challenging & most people will NOT succeed in preparing for retirement without a mandatory savings program with a lock box. People want to borrow from SS (& 401K's), but then we'd go back to vast majority retiring destitute. Instead, we need more distributed income/wealth, better wages, more robust SS. & Changing values (culture) for a little less immediate gratification & consumption so needs & wants don't always outpace income.

Allow a citizen to portion 10% of their tax burden to government projects or organizations of their choice. Congress would still be able to set budgets with the other 90%, and account for any critical deficits, but well liked organizations would be able to receive a bonus for doing a good job and achieving the goals of common citizens. This should incentivize orgs to be more transparent with their mission and spending, while engaging common citizens in their mission.

Our government provided trillions of government guaranteed dollar to provide a bailout for the "too big to fail banks." Now the American people need the bailout. The Federal Reserve with a stroke of a pen created trillions to give faltering banks a second chance. The same should be done for our citizens...Cancel all debts owed to banks as a "We The People Bailout".

Screen all high school students for mental illness. Give students the opportunity to self-report symptoms and problems. Making this routine and mandatory should help reduce the stigma associated with mental illness, in addition to allowing for treatment.

We need an effective, independent arm of government to evaluate whether we are getting our money's worth. That does not seem to be what the CBO or OMB do, and we need to know whether the money being spent to achieve good-sounding aim is actually achieving those good-sounding aims.

Open Borders for immigrants. This will very likely double world GDP (citation: Economics and Emigration: Trillion-Dollar Bills on the Sidewalk? [2011]). It is immoral to confine people to a life of poverty because they were born in a poor area. We could allow immigrants into our country without providing them with social benefits - it is still better for all parties than preventing them from immigrating in the first place. Open Borders.

Create a green building mandate for any significant building going on in the future. Whether it's using solar/wind power, using green material wherever possible, have the architecture of the future in this country adhere to strong environmental standards. Confer with architecture and environmental committees to see how all significant building projects can be as environmentally conscious as possible.
