Now that we in Oregon and other places in the U.S. are finally putting an end to the War on Drugs, why not encourage and promote the production of hemp for fiber, as well as, it's non-TCP products such as healthful oils and seeds. By planting hemp on clear-cut forest lands, at the same time we replant trees, we'd have a cash crop every year, providing numerous jobs for our devastated economy.

Put a ballot initiative in every state possible to have employers provide at least 4 days of sick pay a year accumulative to 10 days( See California's new law). Over a third of all employers have NO sick pay, so workers come to work sick, ESPECIALLY in the Restaurant business! This will increase avg person turnout who will vote for it, and level the playing field for the employers who do provide sick pay.

Repeal the Federal Reserve, it is not a federal agency, never was. It's a cartel of the six largest banks and it's sole purpose is to aid the banks in ripping off the rest of us.

Set up a 16 TRILLION DOLLAR clean, renewable energy fund. This fund will be used by the Department of Energy & the Department of Transportation to issue research grants to colleges and universities for developing novel ideas in wind, solar, biomass and other energy ideas, such as hydrogen fuel. The other portion of the fund will be used to test these ideas and ultimately to help fund the implementation of these ideas through manufacturing. By law, jobs created this way will be high paying.

I think we should re-write corporate law to require corporations to take into account not just with maximizing profit but the morality of any potential action. Corporations must be held liable for harm they do to persons, wildlife, and the property of others.

Every employee should automatically be a member of a union so everyone has collective bargaining. And all companies will be forced to treat their employees equally so good actors will not be punished for higher labor cost and bad actors can escape fair, living wages and benefits. Fair competition between good & bad actors. Outsourcing and imports from countries w/poor labor laws & wages must be heavily regulated to prevent escaping US labor laws & employment practices.

Assist Tobacco farmers to convert to HEMP. Open up research on HEMP. Hemp is a healthy crop for the environment, our healthy and countless other items. As we move away from tobacco and tobacco products, HEMP would be the replacement. Think of the Tobacco industry becoming the HEMP industry.

Enact an Environmental Tariff Bill. U.S.Manufactures have been put at an unfair advantage by doing what Is good and necessary by implementing clean air, water and ground protection through regulation and installation of new technology equipment. I applaud all of the Companies that have done so Voluntarily and those who continually seek to do it better. But the IMPORTERS went to countries WITHOUT ENVIRONMENTAL REGULATIONS. And this is an UNFAIR ECONOMIC ADVANTAGE.

A CEO thinking only about this quarter's profits clearly does not help a company and it does not help the economy; it doesn't help anyone other than perhaps the CEO. Any stock options that are granted to company executives should be restricted so as to not be executed until a year after the executive's retirement.

Call it the Equal Tariff Act. The law would say that US Tariffs on imports cannot be lower than tariffs on US made goods that nation charges. For instance If China has a 29% on a US product then America has the same 29% Tariff on that same product coming from China. The US can have a higher tariff but never a lower tariff then the other nation. Do the same with our markets. They can’t sell their products and services if we can’t in their nation.

Create a new system where all negotiated pension collections and payouts are controlled by the us government. This allows union negotiated pension funding to be transferred from the Corporations/businesses into the hands of the government similar to government annuities and TSP system. This not social security but an expansion of the defaulted pension system into the government enforcement of legal pensions by the fiscally responsible parties so pensions cannot be under funded or erased by ban
