Mandate that Social Security funds may only be invested in government securities that are used for individual educational loans, infrastructure, research and economic loans and/or bonds. Future costs for Social Security benefits will be paid through a better economy that produces higher wages which generate higher SS collections and the interest paid on these loans and bonds.

All money, private and Government given to fund elections goes into one fund and is distributed between the candidates evenly. There would be one fund for all the Presidential and Vice president candidates, another fund for senators, another for the congressmen and so on down.

Limit campaigns to 6 months prior to elections, have national qualifying standards for candidates, publicly fund campaigns for all qualifying candidates, including debates. Prohibit political advertising on TV and prohibit robo-calls. We need to end the perpetual campaigning and limit the influence of money. If the time period for campaigning were limited and the opportunities for manipulative TV advertising severely curtailed, we might be able to have some substance to our political season.

The Read the Bills Act (RTBA) - Its totally unacceptable that multi-hundred page monstrosities are being voted on and passed without being read. Any member of Congress wishing to cast an affirmative vote for more spending, greater regulation, or the creation or retention of a program or bureaucracy, must sign an affidavit swearing that he or she has read or heard a bill.

I think all our House and Senate politicians should not receive their salaries for the rest of their lives when they retire. I also think they should not be allowed to vote on their own raises. This should be put on the ballot for all the people that elected them to decide if they should get a raise when they think they deserve one. I bet all employees would like to be able to decide if they themselves could get raises whenever they wanted. Bankruptcy wouldn' t be far away.

Gridlock in Washington is so long-term that our youngest generation questions the need for a federal government. Appoint a bipartisain congressional committee to focus on how to pass legislation, publishing report findings in the NY Times within 60 days.

Overturn Citizens United and call for Article V Constitutional Amendment that will drain the swamp of corruption that our leaders in Washington are swimming in in the form of legalized bribery that they just so happen to have enacted into law themselves. Washington is too corrupt to fix itself. Luckily the framers of our Constitution had enough foresight to see there may come a time when the government in Washington has become too broken to fix itself. That day is here and now.

Create a constitutional amendment that allows a ballot measure nationwide every year to allow voters to overturn supreme court decisions, such as the citizens united ruling. This should be done so that the spirit of the "government of the people, by the people, for the people" continues to live on. This is what America should be like! So that no political parties can stack up the courts in our judicial system in their favor.

One person one vote, iniversal access through the postal service, which serves every American in every community.. Everyone gets a ballot and signs with their unique fingerprint. No machines that can be hacked and not traced. Only paper ballots. We should be required to vote or pay a penalty and pass a simple citizen awareness test at 18 when we become eligible to vote. Corporations, businesses and lobbyists should be banned from the political process . Gov. of by and for the people.

Enact Federal legislation that will incentive State/local jurisdictions to examine how their corporate laws can be modified to minimize corporations influence over our body politics and social institutions as was the intent of the framers of the Constitution.

We already have term limits in the form of election days. However, we are not allowed to choose who runs congressional committees, and, thereby, wield strong influence over what legislation is promoted, heard by the public, and voted on by each of the houses. Therefore, there should be a maximum term limit of 6 years for anyone to serve as a committee's chairperson within the house to which they were elected.
