Redefine the sentencing structure for white collar crimes, embezzlement, investment fraud, etc. and create mandatory sentencing for these crimes. No more special prisons for white collar crime.

Guns - Like cars: Require training, testing, license, registration, insurance, liability (incl manufacturers); only our military (our well-armed US militia) should be allowed to operate assault-type weapons. Ammo - require limits, registration (ID on every bullet).

Have the federal government create a national seed-money fund, similar to block grants, that would empower local community organizations to create community-owned businesses to hire local people, pay decent wages -- all with the intent of people becoming self sufficient and free of politicians.

Set up special courts for all shootings or physical violence commited by any member of police, any government agency (FBI, Border Control,etc.). Includes suits against police or everyone working for any gocernment agency except military. Give all powers of our current legal system .. arrest, indictments, trials and sentencing.

Mandate that every fire arm be registered annually just like motor vehicles. Make the annual registration fees substantial and use the funds for early childhood education.

End the drug war. Spend some money on persuading users to get help, and on making users' lives bearable without drugs. (Like the anti-tobacco campaign.) It will be much less costly than prosecuting and jailing so many people, and will help make "minority" communities feel less oppressed.

Removal of Marijuana from Federal Schedule 1 classification and immediately ending any Federal monies paid to States for incarcerating its citizens for simple possession of Marijuana. The United States represents 5% of the world's population but with 25% of its incarcerations, it is time to end the United States egregious and abusive human rights record that largely emanates from wrongly implemented and failed marijuana prohibition

Increase the provision of basic public services to offset the cost of living. The aim is that once we can deliver free healthcare, a bus pass, basic cell phone and access to community resources for shelter and food, we will leave more everyone's pay packet in their pocket. It costs 20% less to deliver public services than for each person to buy the same on their own, and that drives down the cost of public services through reduced wage demands.

This idea relates to changing Wall Street... I'd like to work to for the continued evolution of the capitalist economy. I envision this evolution including incentives for businesses TO employ people and TO be stewards of the environment. Currently the incentives are on making money and businesses are good at it. Let's make businesses good at employing people and working for the long term health of the planet on which we depend. Let's evolve the game!!

Corporate structure and governance must be completely revised before they take over everything. All corporations past a certain size need to become either co-ops or employee owned and boards will have workers on them. Then by law all charters must first consider the environment, second the public good , third the employees and finally profit in all decisions. Managers will be personally held liable for negligent or malicious acts or omissions that harm the general well being.
