Don't allow lobbies to influence our lawmakers. All discussions to be in a public forum, by private individuals, nothing behind doors.

Allow for third Party in Presidential debates. End the current two Party monopoly where the RNC and DNC control Presidential debates. We The People need to hear different ideas outside of the same old, same old two Parties.

Online Voting. Create a simple, secure online voting platform. If you can pay for things online and be secure surely you can vote online securely. Using multiple forms of authentication, this should be as easy as anything else you do online. We need to modernize democracy and take back the vote from all the people who would keep us at home and out of the process.

Politicians who are running for a political office, be it an incumbent or first time candidate should be required to relinquish his position in the senate or house for the duration of the campaign period. Because you are running for a political office and running all over the country trying to raise money for election or re-election, you can't very well be in Washington D. C. doing your job and getting paid for it. Therefore, once you throw your hat in the ring, all pay stops.

Citizens United and other similar cases have effectively been used to promote the idea that any campaign contributions/spending can not be limited as that is a limitation on the freedom of speech, equating money with speech. Since Congress has and will likely block any constitutional amendments to reverse these decisions, submit a class action lawsuit on behalf of the majority of citizens who do not have access to large sums of money and therefore their freedom of speech is limited/outweighed

Stop Congress from giving themselves pay raises. Let their raises be voted on by the American public based on their performance while in office and initiate a cap on their income levels; while making it unavailable to be supplemented by special interest groups or corporations.

If the Congress shuts down the government in the future, for every day the government is shut down every Congressman and Senator that voted for it loses a month's salary. If it continues more than a week, those working for it permanently lose their pensions. If it continues more than 2 weeks, they are permanently removed from office.

Somebody needs to stop the red states from changing the way their electoral college votes are handed out in the presidental election, otherwise we'll never have another Democratic president. This is their final nail in their hijacking of our elections. Every states needs to have the same electoral policy or just get rid of it all-together and elect a president with a popular vote, which really is the fairest way to elect a president. We are becoming a one party system - not exactly a democracy.
